Our next Clarke Shark Huddle will be on Friday, November 16th at 8:45.  Our theme will be Thankfulness. We will also highlight the 4th grade leaders food drive.  We will have a Thankfulness Themed bulletin board on the first floor with a turkey. Every student and staff member will make a "Thankful Feather.” Each grade will have a different color feather and a different color per grade. Below are our "Thankful Themes"

K, 1 - What are you thankful for at school?
2, 3 - What are you thankful for at home?
4 - What are you thankful for in the community?

Helping those in Need

The Fourth Grade leaders are planning to collect non-perishable food items for our local interfaith food pantry.  We are asking all students and staff to bring in one or more food items that will be collected at the school gathering on the 16th. Items that are of high priority need are listed below.  Please check expiration dates as expired items cannot be accepted.  Our goal is to collect at least 200 items that can be distributed later this month.  Thank you in advance for your participation.

Items needed most: white or brown rice, canned vegetables, canned tuna (or other canned meat), cereal, spaghetti sauce, peanut butter, canned tomatoes, or canned fruit.

CLARKE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Halloween Candy for the Troops-2018

Dear Clarke Families,
We plan on collecting and donating sweet treats to deployed soldiers as part of our Veteran’s Day celebration.  If you have any extra Halloween Candy at home that you would like to donate, there will be a container in the main office from November 2nd until next Wednesday, November 7th when the collection ends.

Thank You!
